Try with comething like "tsrlyenaack" (stress on "e") kashtelanski". Just first letter was pretty wrong- the rest of pronouncing is pretty decent. Kudos on your research. Hope you come to Croatia and taste more. You can't even fathom how much there is to discover.

I recommend Garzon Pinot Noire Reserve from Garzon, Uruguay. VERY intense and fruity, with aromas reminiscent of wild flowers and red berries. It's well developed. Salúd!

you also swirl the glass to read the legs, the more legs the wine has, the higher the alcohol content is....

Moscato is a great beginner wine. A begining, a middle, and an end. I can only drink Moscato I cant get into dryer wines lol!

Love Tempranillo, easy drinking sipper

I’m not super deep into wines but currently one of my favorites I’ve ever had was a Anciano Tempranillo Gran Reserva 10 Years

I've been meaning to talk about Tempranillo for years... not sure why it took me this long, but thanks for your patience! There's a lot that I did not cover here, for the sake of time, but if you'd like to know anything or have feedback, I'd love to hear it. Leave me a comment!

What I find interesting is that 'taste' never seems to factor into it. Personally I just find it extremely unhelpful to have sparkling wines that are basically indistinguishable from champagne having to be called something else. I mean sure you don't want EVERY sparkling wine to be called champagne, but if it tastes like champagne then I'd prefer it just be called champagne no matter how it was actually produced or where the grapes are from and all that arbitrary stuff that doesn't effect me as the consumer of the product. It's not exactly consumer friendly, it just makes it more difficult if you just want to buy a champagne like drink and forces you to hunt around on the label or pay far more than you need to for something that is allowed to be called champagne.

My favorite Chenin from the Loire tends to come from their coolest terroirs and has a lot of that earthiness and limestone quality to it, but it's really just about having fun and pairing things

Feel like I’m experienced after tasting my first Chenin Blanc. And ended up listening to Jimi Hendrix ARE YOU EXPERIENCED? while on my #? Wine glass. Made awesome shrimp scampi and poured a glass. My very first white wine I was blown away drinking. Its officially my Jimi Hendrix salute vino. No idea what the lyrics means but i had an experience. South Africa Chenin Blanc in a mystery box.
